The ABIF National Championships have become a tremendously popular and prestigious events on the Australian cue sports calendar.
Annually, teams and individual players representing ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory, Victoria and Western Australia are invited to participate.

ABIF Nationals From 2018
- The National Championships were first held in 2018 in Adelaide. The venue was Chalkers Pool Hall.
- The 2019 Nationals moved to Victoria and the Bar Eight Snooker and Pool Club in Bundoora.
- Unfortunately the 2020 National Championships, scheduled to be held in Perth, were cancelled due to the coronavirus restrictions.
- In 2021 Hamilton, Victoria was the host of yet another highly successful tournament.
- 2022 takes the Nationals to the Ipswich Showgrounds and Queensland.
- Tenders are invited to host the 2023 and 2024 events.
